The President has now reversed his position and is saying that Healthcare reform will increase costs for everyone, which includes Medicare recipients.

I don't think that anyone with a brain and a job actually believed that the cost of insurance was going down.
It may even be an axiom. Everytime and industry is attacked by the government the price of the product goes up.
