Hi Everyone, I've been following this forum for several months now. I work for one of the biggest lead companies, which at this time I would like to remain anonymous. I have been dealt with the following task here at work. What can we change, improve or do that would increase agent satisfaction?

Let me know your thoughts or ideas you have about how lead companies work and what you would do to improve them. Thanks so much!!

Leadco?

Here are a few suggestions:

Don't use affiliates.
Don't use goofy search terms like "Dental health care."
Don't sell to more than four agents.
Don't resell leads...EVER!
Don't buy leads from other lead companies.

Yes, complete and utter transparency on every facet of your business. Don't worry, none of us are going to steal your business model - we don't want that particular headache.

When I'm selling insurance, it's a very powerful thing to be able to tell someone "Yes" who's heard nothing but "No" up to then. It's similar here - you would engender a great following by telling the truth to those of us so used to hearing lies.

Aside from that, Chumps is spot on. I would add to the list the following:
- Make it easy to pause the flow of leads
- Allow the agent to filter for "currently insured" or "not currently insured" leads
- Allow the agent to filter health leads to get only leads with more than two, or more than three, people on the policy
- Don't lie to the client and tell them that they're about to get an instant quote. Let them know that they're about to be contacted by an agent. This will kill your volume, I'm sure, but I would probably pay double what I do now to talk with prospects who know they're about to get hit with a phone call.

I'd like to say if you redirected the lead to my norvax quote engine, I'd be more than willing to invest $25-30 per lead on an exclusive basis, and I would buy 10 a day(With the correct filters).

From my discussions with other brokers, I thought Benepath didn't have volume. Like 10 to 50 leads a day.

$30 per lead?

We'll ask them what color underwear they are wearing for $30 a lead if you buy 10 a day . . .

Tom

I'm serious Tom.

And I know other agents who are just as serious as I am.

$30 a pop, if they are correctly qualified.

"Ready, Willing and Able"

And none of this 8-10% contact ratio you get with internet leads nowadays.

I would Say:
1. No Up Front Fees
2. Stand Behind your Product!
3. Refund Money Quickly For Bad Leads
