I a license required?

Its 2024 boomer. 20 other positions than just pitcher or catcher. Plus there are designated hitters, pinch runners, switch hitters and entire bullpen waiting for their turn

Yup. I was the Life 'specialist' for three Allstate guys. My second year in. I didn't work for Allstate. Paid directly by the agents. When you don't know what you don't know. Back when I was still learning lessons the hard way.
 
Someone can communicate with a Consumer about insurance and not be licensed - but, they can't quote rates, discuss benefits of a specific Carrier or Bind coverage.

They can ask personal information questions - including health questions.

They can not be paid a commission on any specific sale.
