Is there a problem with that combination?

When I post, my mouse doesn't work properly. Can't go back and put the cursor where I want it nor can I reliably highlight to C&P.

(Yeah, I know chrome, safari, etc. are better but I use IE).

OH, that explains your profile picture. hehe jkjk

I use "compatability mode" with this site (IE9). The fonts look better that way, but I don't know about the issues you mentioned.

Just for you . . . I fired up IE9 on my laptop. Been using Win 7 64 bit for about 5 months now, no complaints other than I should have upgraded a long time ago.

No problems.

Your issue may be your mouse, the driver, or both.

When was the last time you did a Windows update?

I vote both the mouse and the driver. <snicker>

I'm Firefox, Win7, 64 bit and last week my mouse acted up for about an hour twice in one day. Never happened before and hasn't since. I use a track ball mouse and cleaned it the first time it happened which didn't help, it went away on it's own. Didn't do anything the second time but go get something to eat and it was fine when I came back. Very strange.

I use a wireless optical mouse. Have for years. Only problem is the batteries die almost without warning.

When the batteries start to go I have problems similar to what you describe.

Try cleaning the cache. Then use CCleaner and run it on full mode.

Then adjust your "advanced internet compatibility" to Level 3 or 4. After a quick reboot, delete the dwm.exe process.

And then you will notice all your problems are gone. And your hard drive.

I already shifted the johnson rod to the right. I think that might help.
