I'm Going to an AllState "Seminar" Next Week, What Should I Expect ?

I talked to an Allstate HR person a week ago, took an online test, and now I'm invited to a seminar next week.

What is this process and what's really going on ?

You did not tell what type of seminar you are invited to, motivational seminar or technical sales seminar or something else. You know how the motivational seminar goes. If it is technical, that is serious teaching.

They will try to get you to drink the blue koolaid. They will say that you will be an independent contractor (no health, pension,etc.) but explain how they have the right to micromanage you and fire you. I.e. Who you can sell your book to, what they will give for it, what hours you have to be open, blah blah blah. Save your money and go independent.
