The MGA Broker I use is fantastic. Super fast turnaround with quotes and renewal options. My AMS system is paramount to the quoting process, as it houses and prefills accords with a breeze and retains all documents/apps/siggies in the process. But no carrier downloads for MGA business, so much more work and touching.
I could not imagine running a heavy surplus lines agency without an AMS system. More reasons to hit your head against a wall. We need to reduce those reasons in this business.
