Lots of specialized FaceBook groups, but they're much harder to follow, IMO.

No... not really. There's another paid subscription one... but we don't talk about them here (anymore). Besides, once he went to a paid subscription format, that place has practically died.

This forum has changed quite a bit over the last several years. There were definitely a lot of knowledgeable agents that no longer post, and are missed, but there were a few bad ones that, once removed, there was an "uplift".
The people removed were constantly posting only to cause trouble, and trash talk sort of became the norm. Ever since those idiots were dealt with, you can come on here and talk about relevant subject matter, without having to wonder what kind of horseshit response you're going to get from these guys (within reason).
This forum, in it's present form, shouldn't be taken for granted. There are so many weak business forums out there.

. I found this forum about 6 months ago and it's pretty good at getting answers from agents. I haven't commented on anything as of yet, but there are some good questions, and answers. I've been in the P&C Commercial business for 40 years, and it's great to have a place to read about issues that agents, both new and seasoned agents post.
