Insurance for Australian Living in Nevada

We bought a car in nevada so need to insure it here. We have an address, but most companies need a social security number or us license as well. Does anyone know of any car insurance companies that insure foreign nationals.

There are a few Companies that will accept you, especially in CA. I believe some of the big guns like Progressive and AAA, will take you on, but you may want to double check.

Many companies will, it isn't a big problem. Call almost any local insurance broker and they can get you covered. I don't work in Nevada so I can't name specific companies, but if you are licensed in Australia most, or at least many, companies will accept that.

Heck, even without a license, you can get coverage. Just call a local broker and ask to get a quote.
