Do you guys know any good companies for mobile homes in florida?
My only market is american traditions and they only accept mobile homes 16 years old or newer.

I don't know about FL specifically but I'd say across the board this is something Progressive may like.

None of the big name companies write HO insurance in Florida yet alone mobile homes. Ask joshb, he knows the Florida mobile home network pretty well.

The only carriers actively writing mobiles in Florida right now, are American Traditions/Modern USA, American Integrity (1994 and newer), Safeway (1990 and newer), Tower Hill (1985 and newer only in preferred parks; very small list of parks), Safe Harbor (1995 and newer in polk county), Aegis (2000 and newer in Polk County), and thats all I can think of right now. Out of all of them only American Traditions, and American Integrity are offering appointments for the mobile product. We do write a lot through Lloyds. They write all the way back to 50 year old mobiles for fairly good premiums (average around $900) with 12% commission.

Bass Underwriters is a Lloyd's broker; they have quoted mobile homes here on the AL gulf coast for us. They may have something over there in FL (their home state).
