Insurint = HBD?!?!?

Man where you been, they did close the call center, LOL

Yeah, I realized, my bad.

Man, this is ancient news, where you been? :D

On a related note, heard a rumor that HBD closed their call center here in FL totally...haven't been able to confirm - or deny.

Is this correct? HDB owns Insurint?

Sorry I haven't been out on here for a little while, I will try to pay more attention to this important forum.

To dispel a couple myths which our competitors are happy to Foster:
- MYTH: HBD Call Center owns Insurint.
- TRUTH: Insurint is owned by a corporate holding entity, who owns Atiam, the HBD Call Center, and Insurint. The software was originally built for the HBD call center, and then Insurint was spun out as its own corporation. HBD call center then became a customer of Insurint. There is another rumor on this site which I cannot comment about yet, but more will be known soon.

- MYTH: Insurint sells insurance.
- TRUTH: Insurint does NOT sell insurance. We are a technology company, that's it. The only affiliation we have with agencies- a lot of them- is that we provide software to help them sell.

We're not a GA, we're not owned by a GA. We have no plans to BECOME a GA, nor to conflict with the interests of our customers. We provide software to many call centers, but we're not "owned by a call center." We do not sell leads, but we integrate with most lead companies.

If you would like a demonstration of Insurint, please see our contact information on www.insurint.com or you may also email me at [email protected]

Putting on my ex-consultant hat for a second:
When checking out a potential business partner, always be wary of competitors' stories, which can be heavily biased. Beware especially of vendors who spend more time speaking negatively about their competitors rather than just talking about their OWN features.
In choosing a potential partner, first decide what is most important to YOU (customer service, technology, price, length of contract, carrier coverage, features, etc), then prioritize/weight those items.. then give each vendor a score for each of those categories.

Thank you.

My two cents...

I am with Norvax and happy with them. However, I have spoken and corresponded with Mark many times. He seems knowledgible, honest and in tune with customer concerns.
