Intro- Starting Anew After Failing...

Hello,

I never usually post anything, but figured that I have been doing things wrong, so doing the opposite could possibly be right.

I was a professional in another field, but suffered a tarnished reputation due in part to my former managers actions. Among those actions was embezzlement and concealment of funds. As a result, I am in the process of surrendering my licensing for that field.

Thankfully, the people in my office building were kind enough to offer me this opportunity, but it is difficult given my loss of license and need to ensure an income for my family. If nothing else, I have learned how to effectively speak with people on an individual level.

I hope to use this forum to advance my 'new' career, and would very much like to contribute as well, as marketing techniques are an area of interest.

Sorry to hear about all that and best wishes.

Just a dose of reality. You are losing a license due to embezzlement and concealment of funds. What makes you think you'll be able to get an insurance license?

So you are surrendering your license, voluntarily? Were you guilty? If not, are you fighting the charges? Have you been sentenced? In all honesty, would be very surprised if any company would accept you, might be difficult to get licensed by any state.

Whoops, sorry.

Meant that my former manager did the embezzling, not me. I was the one who was cheated. Unfortunately, because of his actions, I was found neglectful of my duties to supervise him, despite the fraud. Waiting for charges against him to pop up.
Already licensed.
