Lincoln agents like to brag that death claims are paid in 24 hours.. But notice what it actually says on the web site:

Cash benefits are paid within 24 hours, once a claim is approved

Just about everybody pays within 24 hours once the claim is approved.. The question how long does it take to get an approval?

I recently had a policy replaced by LH.....it was small, and I know nothing about them, and I was busy writing better business, so I didn't think anything of it. The message my client left me said they had more options for him. I hear about people replacing LH all the time??

LH 0-85. Rates are high
Sell funeral advantage, that no one uses
Modified rates are very high for people 40-65
If a person is taking Coumadin/Warfin, they write it modified. Some companies will give you 1st day coverage.
They are only competitive 80-85 modified.
