First I paid off my last debit balance this week. Finally I will get a check from all of my carriers. Next I received a call from one of my clients in another state who I sold some term to a few years back. He is a rancher and decided to do some estate planning. Needs several million more in coverage and will pay annually. Finally and best of all I received a letter from Torchmark concerning when I worked with Liberty National 14 years as a debit agent from 1977 to 1991. I called them about it and was told that since I was not with the company for 15 years I had to wait until I was 65 to receive my pension. At that time I was eligible for $320 monthly or since I separated before 2003 I could opt for a lump sum of $65,000. I didn't even know I would get anything. Life is good. Hopefully I will still be around 3 years from now.

That's great. As DT pointed out, what a difference a year makes.

Just got a call from a friend who is retiring from UPS and wants to spend $600 monthly on life insurance instead of taking survivors benefit. The best part is she is in excellent health.
