To the agents who thought I was complaining and said there is no harm in giving money. Well, watch Florida news because the guy who is doing it gives car salespeople at auto dealerships $100 cash under the table. So I took out a "policy" with him as a British customer with no social or drivers' license. He billed me $247. No receipt and no paperwork. Called Kemper because that's who I was put with...they received $83 of it. I confronted this "boiler room". He meekly replied a roadside was included. His cancer has spread through South Florida up to Jax. The girls, who look like they sell from a street corner, collect cash at the stores where the salespeople talk the customer in to going with them. One customer was told, " You're buying a new car, you need new insurance"?! I'm saying this as an educational tool for the honest agents to be aware of when they are looking at their cancellations. Maybe the agents who complain, are part of the problem. Really? You want to risk your license & career? Maybe collectively something can be done. Phone call to the DOI perhaps?
