Was watching the movie and recounting stories I heard growing up.
My dad knew Danny Greene, his boss Shondor Birns was my dad's boss - when my dad used to run numbers for the mob back in the day. He even saw his boss, Shondor get blown up on the Shoreway Blvd. My father knew all the top guys in the Cleveland scene, would have dinner with them, told me how nice they were to a Ukrainian guy like him.
Watching this movie inspired me to write a book about his experiences working with the people he worked with...
