L&H Partnering Up with P&C Agents

Anybody tried this technique? Did it work, not work? Pros? Cons?

I have tried this numerous times as an agency owner. It was always very difficult because it was easier for the L&H guy to refer to me that the other way around. After trying it a few times I found a L&H guy to occupy a desk in my office so that the cross selling happens easier. I get access to his account and vise versa and it works out great.
