ok, so for about 3 months now i have been using InsuranceLeads.com. I get new leads in my email everyday. The problem? they sucks. im paying $10per lead and ive written 2 auto policies! In the past ive used Boulder, Netquote, Agent Helper(or something like that) and i feel that they are totally not worth the money!!<p>

what are some Lead compaies that you feel are worth the money. I sure do not mind spending $$, cause you need to spend, inorder to make... I am really tryin to write some more commercial stuff, so any help i would apreciate. PLEASE let me know of companies you are aware of , and if they are any good.

the fact that i work for allstate, and they want the cream of the crop when it comes to driving record and credit does not help.. but i still should be writting more new business..and im not

I was very cautious with them because they offered 20 free leads to start. When I was about to go through with it they informed me that I could not use it for FE but only for Life. Then I got a call saying I could. THEN I got anouther call from a manager saying I could not but they would sell them to me for $7 a piece. My thinking is if they can't get their act together for something as simple as a trial offer then what kind of service will I get when I start putting more money into them. I would stay away from them. But do whatever works for you. What doesn't work for one person might work for another. So it is very hard to say who to go through.

I used InsuranceLeads.com for Life leads as well as others and found all the lead companies to provide many bogus leads, many people entering sweepstakes and having to enter info for a policy quote who where never interested in a quote (That is not a lead). The only nice thing I have to say about InsuranceLeads.com is I did manage to get a refund of my unused dollars many other sites will not give you any money back even unused dollars....I remember one site that promised I could get unused money back and offered so many leads free but come to find out when I wanted my money back the free leads where only given to you after they had sent leads on your dime so there was no money to give back....Be very carefule with lead vendors they all sell to one another so if they claim they only sell a lead to x people 1-2 or so of the x people is another lead vendor who sells it to x more including more lead companies.

Allstate has such a fun way of looking at the world. The best thing you can do is get someone telemarketing for you. Most of the agents that have had real success are either doing it themselves or paying people to come into their office and dial. I use overseas and stateside callers for FE and health products and have had pretty good luck with it. Are you scratch agent or did you buy a book of business? PM or e-mail me if you want to talk sometime.

I have found for my P&C agency, that if I am going to buy internet leads, that it is best to stick with home owners leads only.

I have found that the prospect is usually better and after quoting the home it is much easier to cross-sell the auto.

There are way to many auto insurance shoppers online and the home shoppers are more likely to buy.

This poster needs to go in the offers section---

I've heard the same situation from my other colleague. Starting with 20, I think I have to more extra cautious too.
