Leazer Group? New to insurance industry

Hey everyone.

I want to get into insurance. I just got my life & health license. A friend recommended a company called The Leazer Group. They just got acquired by a company called Integrity Marketing.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these companies?

Is it a legitimate insurance agency?
Is it good place for a new insurance agent to start?

It sort of has an MLM feel to it so far. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I'm just not sure if it's what I am looking for.

If you were new to insurance and knew what you know now...where would you start?

Oh--I am mostly looking to build a business and not necessarily work a 9-5 for an employer.

I'd appreciate any advice you guys can give me.

Yep, MLM and has been for years, not my cup of tea! Captive company, high pressure! High turn over rate!
