So this is my first week in the field with fresh leads and today I think the initiation began. I have read some crazy stories about the places FE leads will take you but there is nothing like actually experiencing it.

So I'm door knocking at first and my first stop required four wheel drive to get up the driveway. (I do not have a four wheel drive.)

My second stop was a little of the beaten path too. Didn't know there was dirt roads in western PA??? But I made it to the door, knocked, turned around to a dog (some sort of Lab mix) He wasn't mean thank goodness but I have muddy paw prints on a nice pair of pants and shirt!:1arghh:

Stop three was a single wide trailer, probably from the 60's. I thought me and the chair I was sitting in was going to bust through the floor!! But that one was worth it cuz I sold a policy. (850 AP)

I'm sure this is only the beginning.....

For the first time i took a friend of mine on a few appointments becasue he is thinking of getting into the business. I had a ten oclock appointment and when we got there she was sleeping. Her husband woke her up and she was startled and said her tummy was uppset. She went up stairs and took a maylox cuz i could see it on her mouth. She settled down and after she told me of her rape by 2 guys 5 years ago purchased a $55 per month premium.

I then sold her mother a policy and the daughter took one out on her as well. I then sold the sister a policy.

Now my firend thinks this is the easiest job in the world!

I did a Monumental policy today. Already have 3 others with the family. The lady made fresh cornbread and hot coffee for the meeting. Going back on the first to write the Bro in Law. Man, that cornbread was good! I love my FE clients.... mostly

Cool man, good start...Im under Shannon too, I started last yr in Feb. Hopefully since you're in Penn, you're a Steelers fan, Im a DIE HARD Steelers fan here in Cali!

Sounds like u wore really nice clothes....my suggestion is DONT! I wear jeans (or casual slacks like dockers) & a polo, sometimes a nice ironed plain Tshirt if its warm, or a long sleeved button down when its cold (cold to us tho is below 60).

Good luck!

Sorry, I'm not originally from the Burgh. I do follow the Steelers but I'm a Carolina Panther fan. (do the Cam Thang!!) ok well maybe next year....:1err:

I have been wearing dress pants but after stomping around in the mud today may rethink that. I have read here about not over dressing so I wear a long sleeve button down shirt but no tie. Looks like Dockers or nice jeans from here out.

People here make fun of Subarus but in western PA roads were designed by how spaghetti fell on their map. Hills with ice are great also and the sun will shine maybe once every two weeks. I loved seeing my Italian prospects anisette in my coffee and fresh prizelles to take with me on the road.
