Anyone have suggestion on a computer program where I can set up an email list and send out email blasts? I want to keep in touch with my interested prospects on a monthly basis either with a quote reminder or newsletter.

I think Radiusbob CRM has that.

I'm only using about 20% of it's capability. I still haven't took the time to watch all the training videos.

MailChimp is super easy to use. You'll need to have them opt-in, but it's also really cheap.

If you want to do it yourself, you can use a program called SendBlaster. Its pretty simple to use and very effective.

Online, there are several things you can use, MailChimp, Constant Contact, GetResponse, etc. These have varying degrees of capabilities such as being able to create landing pages for people to respond to your email or just having solid unsubscribe systems (ultra important). With any online service, make sure your list opted in to YOU though, or they will bounce you on your ears pretty quickly (with no refunds).

If you use your own desktop style program (sendblaster or many others), you need a way to send the emails out. Gmail, aol, yahoo, whoever, all have pretty small daily limits on how many emails you can send. If you are talking 1 or 2 hundred, no sweat. If you have a couple of thousand, you need to think differently.

Sendblaster is very good at handling high volume, however, the email tracking (ie google analytics and trackreports) is not easy to use with it. I made some work arounds to get some functionality but it pales in comparison to something like mailchimp. Mailchimp is the best I've seen overall below the 2k subscribers limit. Both are really good, but sendblaster is a steeper learning curve.

I like agency buzz. It's a bit on the pricy side relative to the others but I didn't have to create my own emails or set up any drip campaigns (they did all the work)

That and I average over a 35% open rate over a 1 year drip period (about 7-8 emails). It also integrates well with their online rating solution.
