Ok the last time I did one of these the app automatically made the effective date the date after coverage ended

and now I did an app and it is starting 03/01 instead of 04/01 after coverage ended
Called up health sherpa and they say you have to cancel app and do new app after 03/01 ??

That this is a new change for this year? does that make sense? why would we go backwards in this?

alright I am going to cancel this and rewrite it in 10 days but just does not make sense to me that I would have to literally hold an app till the last month on a loss of coverage deal

I'm not trying to say this in a mean way but if someone is taking some of your commission and overrides, they should be answering these questions.
I genuinely hope you're successful, but if you aren't getting the support you need from the people who are benefitting off of your work, you need to find someone else to work with.

I apologize for singling you out but there may be some other people on the forum who need to hear it as well.

I work really hard to get agents to move their business to us and I work even harder to keep it. I would have an awful amount of guilt making a buck off someone if I didn't hold up my end of the bargain

I hear you I just don't do ACA everyday. I do it from referral only at this point, So I might do 3 to 5 policies on a good month and might not do an app for 2 months

So Yea I do need more info on this then other products

But since I started in Medicare back in 2011,. I have never had issues asking questions here on this forum, and honestly I have helped many many people in the Medicare space as well

Which is why I find it strange to get the push back when I ask questions in the FE or now here in ACA

I am always free to give when I have answers
