lower rates for Group Health

This question is for those agents that write group health plans in Georgia. Do carriers offer lower rates
for those companies that have in place employee drug
screening? If so which specific ones. Percentage wise how much of a savings for the company?

I am not selling in your state but I have never heard of a group health insurance company lower rates for drug screening.

Worker's Comp maybe, but never heard of it for group health...

You MIGHT get a slight reduction for drug screen and EAP program, but not enough to notice. And it ill only come on groups large enough to be credible.

Where did you get this idea any way?

I worded it incorrectly. I did mean any carriers that write health plans for employers as a group. Does this still apply?

In addition to performing Paramedical exams, We have contracts with companies in our area performing drug screens. They
are large Northrup Gruman, small local car dealer, etc. I
while marketing for other contracts wanted to use it as a selling tool. I believe I found the info on a web site advocating drug screening. They did mention workmens comp reduced rates but were not specific regarding carriers or which states.
