I haven't done any LTC insurance yet, but have a Medicare client looking for advice. She is 64 and in good health. She has no family to speak of, and is concerned that if her health deteriorates and she is forced into LTC, that her assets will be exhausted and she'll end up in a Medicaid facility.

Any suggestions/help are appreciated.

state of residence?
health?
net worth?
annual income?

If she's in good health, she has several options. Do you work with an IMO/GA who offers LTC insurance expertise? If so, ask them for help. "Help" isn't someone just spitting out a quote, it's helping you understand and find the right plan for this lady. IF you don't, find one, OR, connect with an LTC Specialist in your area who can work with you on this.

yes, definitely work with an agent who thinks hybrids are the best way to plan for long term care. :goofy::no::arghh::goofy::fibs:
OR, work with an agent (Tyler) who has no preconceived notion about what the client needs/wants, understand their comprehensive financial situation, educate the client about long term care, present all available options, then help them make their selection based on their goals and objectives and then periodically review.

You know, use some financial planning?

omg... financial situation has NOTHING to do with whether a hybrid is better or a traditional policy is better.
