I wrote Monumental on a young female in her 20's that had Lupus.

Preferred Level I do believe. I called the underwriter on the situation, and they said not a problem.

Man I don't know. It was a clients daughter that asked about it in passing as I was asking the health questions off the app. Seems like a suspect to me but I told her I'd find out.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and Discoid are the most common I run into. SLE is the more serious.

United Heritage will do Level if not disabled. UHL, product depends on the type. Probably find lower cost somewhere else.

RNA once told me Discoid Lupus is OK, the SLE type attacks the organs, they might ask to see her "ANA levels?" I think it was, blood measurement to be sure. The Discoid is more of a skin condition.

As a side note. I have found that people with Lupus tend to have family members with Lupus. Good source of leads. I see more Lupus in my Black clients, especially Black women. Again, a good source of leads.

If it is Discoid, she may be better off with a larger underwritten policy for the same price. IMHO
