Hello,
I will be relocating to Lynchburg, VA in the next few weeks to be near an aging parent and am seeking employment in the area.

I worked for a few months for American General in TN as an agent and enjoyed the work, but was lured away by a "friend" for a "can't miss" start up business, which was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in the last few years. (My Wife has the complete list.)

I have TN and VA Life and Health licenses, but not much experience. I would like to inquire if anyone has any recommendations in the Lynchburg area and/or if anyone has a need for someone willing to work and learn.

Thanks,
warren

Hi ANG and welcome to the Forum.

I'm right here in Roanoke and I am looking for agents, especially in that area.

Welcome to Virginia when you get here. I'm in Salem, Virginia. That's funny you mention your wife has the complete list of mistakes you've made. They all seem to have that list memorized don't they? If you're a TN resident now just make sure you get your VA license within 90 days or you'll have to take the exam again like I did.

Thanks for the Heads Up! I currently have a resident license in Tn and a Non-Res for VA since our location in TN was so close to the VA border, we were advised to have both.

They will probably still come in handy for you. You probably will still have contacts in TN and you just might need to keep your NR for TN.
