MA's Luv Em or Leave Em!

Possibly, but I don't think this is something that the executives at any forward looking MA plan hadn't already anticipated and planned for. Just because capitation rates will remain flat and not increase doesn't necessarily spell the demise of MA as we know it.

I'm sure that there will be a good many seniors on MA plans looking for a different plan in the fall, but then again, don't most of them anyway? The plans have had to whittle down their benefits or increase premiums, but, in many areas, especially around me, the MA plans are very competitive and the networks are good.

Med Supps are a great alternative, but for many seniors, it's just not the best alternative.
