I concur with Dave MML is a great company. To this list I add Guardian. The nice thing about MML and Guardian is you have a lot of freedom to write other business.

Does anyone know if Mass Mutual a good company to work for?

I'm in the process of what I would term a rather lenghly courtship with the branch here in Southern California.

What, for me at least, sets Mass. Mut. apart from the other captive agencies I've interviewed with is that they don't seem to be in any particular hurry to get my name on the contract.

I've been given what might seem to many here, a [bold] very [/bold] conservative earnings estamate, and there's been no holds barred on the challenges that I will have to face, I've a limited number of people to draw from, due to my being out of the country for 20 years.

However from what I've learned from them, there's no shortage of material for me to look over, as well as having sat in on an agency breakfast, they are at the top of their game.

Hopefuly the waltz will end for us this week and I can go forward with things, either with them, or with plan "B", whatever that might be.

You won't go wrong by going with MM! Much better than AGLA.

Do you mean AGLA ? Depends on what clientelle base you want to go after. If you want mid-income, go AGLA. Higher income- Mass Mutual.
