Med. Supp. by Phone

I have a team doing Medicare Advantage by phone now. We are doing big numbers but are missing out on business we could be getting with Med. Supps. I have never done them before. Any suggestions on who to contract with for business in Maryland, PA, and TX?
 
This isn't an accusation, so, please don't take it that way,but, I thought any type of MA phone prospecting was against the new CMS rules. How are you getting around that?
 
Family Life and Mutual are two of the better "over-the-phone" Medicare Supplement companies that are actually competitive in all three states. There are other companies that have competitive rates, but you'll need send the applications through the mail. If you want a full run down on how both handle over-the-phone sales, call AJ (ext. 225) in our office. He'll be able to point you in the right direction.

We have leads! As long as a person requests the info we are not prospecting anymore and are within CMS regs......It can only be done in a CMS approved call center of which we are one of very few that houses independents. Beautiful system:)

The leads are from all three sources...we generate them ourselves or get them from carriers direct.... and yeah we are approved. Dont know why you find that amusing. The carrier i write with primarily makes sure that we are top notch before they approve for tele apps. Kinda important with all the idiots that slang MA plans and dont have a clue what they are doing. Obviously its ok to call people who request info from anywhere....just not to sell them without wet signiture anywhere.

You've probably already solved your inquiry, but if not, we have a unique and very effective way to enrolling folks over the phone for Med Supps that I believe you might find refreshing. It is easier on the client, causes less confusion, and puts them at ease, immediately.
