I have a gentleman from West Palm Beach who called me by chance and is looking for an agent in Florida to help him select a med supp (says he just became eligible)

Any takers? Just message me if you are...

So let me see if I got this straight. If one of my clients moves to a state I'm not licensed in and should call me about buying some insurance, as a good insurance agent I can serve his interests best by going on the internet to a insurance forum and enlisting someone I don't even know that lives in his state to sell him insurance. I did not know that!

Yes!
And just for you Yoda, as I know you dislike MA's and PDP's, I will only sell this person a Med Supp and tell them to pay cash for their Rx's.

Unlike you YODA, (small green crooked thingie), I have found most of the members on this forum very knowledgeable and helpful professionals.

So YES, it would be fine to seek help for this client in Florida on this forum.

Have to go now and explain to Yoda's wife why his is green and crooked and mine looks like Darth Vaders light saber! :twitchy:

P.S. Tell your buddy Michael Moore to eat more salads and a bran muffin every now and then.
The only good colon is a clean colon!

Its disgustingly unethical and unprofessional and insurance agents wonder why the public image of them is so low.

Calm down...if that's possible...or get on blood pressure meds.

What is it with you? Better yet, don't answer that.

There are a lot of good insurance agents on this forum and no, it's not unethical and unprofessional. It's a simple med-supp lead.

Now...the other side....

There was someone that started a thread on here a few months ago offering a med-supp lead in Florida. I responded to it. He/she, started sending me PM's wanting to know a little more about me. I had no problem telling him/her about myself. Just figured he/she wanted to make sure I wasn't some fly-by-night agent.

Then when they sent me a PM wanting to know my Florida license number....uh, no...I'm not giving that. Find someone else to write the lead.
