Med Supp Lead in Florida

I have a gentleman from West Palm Beach who called me by chance and is looking for an agent in Florida to help him select a med supp (says he just became eligible)

If one of my clients moves to a state I'm not licensed in and should call me about buying some insurance, as a good insurance agent I can serve his interests best by going on the internet to a insurance forum and enlisting someone I don't even know that lives in his state to sell him insurance. So YES, it would be fine to seek help for this client in Florida on this forum.

There are a lot of good insurance agents on this forum and no, it's not unethical and unprofessional. It's a simple med-supp lead.

Now...the other side....

There was someone that started a thread on here a few months ago offering a med-supp lead in Florida. I responded to it. He/she, started sending me PM's wanting to know a little more about me. I had no problem telling him/her about myself. Just figured he/she wanted to make sure I wasn't some fly-by-night agent.

Then when they sent me a PM wanting to know my Florida license number....uh, no...I'm not giving that. Find someone else to write the lead.
