Medicare Age Going To 60?

Is the Medicare age moving from 65 to 60? Bill comments on the potential impact to Senior Market Agents if the current proposal by President Biden and Congressional Democrats come to pass, and what it means to the Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plan markets.

The one thing I want to know is when will they start voting on this or at least get an idea of support and effective date

It will goto 60, the day after the Bidden/Sanders Medicare for All Plan goes into affect. Basically eliminating, the need for MedSupps and MedAdvtg all together.

Here's another current article on this subject from the Washington Post that I think outlines a lot of the factors in play. Additionally, although Sanders original plan of "Medicare For All" would have eliminated private health insurance companies piece in the equation, the word that I'm hearing on the Medicare to 60 would not take that step.
