Do you get renewal commissions with Selling Medicare Advantage?

Someone told me no....but then i heard from another that said yes...

What's the scoop....?

It depends on whether you walk or ride the bus when you go to see the client.

So do they? or do they not? I am confused. I heard term life has the best renewals though.

I have agents in several states and our agency represents a lot of MA companies. There is no easy answer because all are different. You definitely should see renewals on your MA/PDP You may not if you assigned your commissions or took a bad contract.

For a street agent, PDP renewals will be from around $15/yr to $50/yr...and some pay by the year, some pay monthly after the first year is up.

For MA products, you should see $5-10 / Month after the first year. Again, these vary from Monthly to annual payments.
