Hi, I had a client who was on Wellcare Complete in MI and I was under the impression his plan was going to be crosswalked to a comparable plan with Wellcare. As far as I can tell, he is canceled as of 12/31 and they are returning him to original medicare.
Would they have notified him of this by mail or anything? I don't know how I missed it. Unless Wellcare customer service was wrong but unfortunately I don't think they were.
What are my options at this point? AEP is done and I didn't realize this until now of course. Is there any kind of SEP that he can use in this situation? Should he call Medicare and complain and see if he can get someone to give him some mercy and enroll him over the phone??
