MM Non Solicit Provision

Looking at signing on with a MassMutual GA as a career sampler. Was told that I would own my own book of business and if I ever left it would leave with me. The career sampler contract that I need to sign has a 2 year non-solicit provision which seems to contradict being able to take my business with me. Anybody have any direct experience with MM in this capacity? Thanks from a newbie.

My old MassMutual non-solicit agreement had two provisions in it:
1) Two years to not replace any previously sold policies to any new company.
2) Two years to not solicit any agents to work for you or any other agency.

The idea is that you can be a broker and service existing policies you have sold, but you can't change the policies to a new company... for two years.
