How do you explain the infamous argument you all get when somebody see's American States on their "Safeco" ID card? Or Unitrin Auto/Home instead of "Kemper"? Allstate Vehicle & Property vs "Allstate'

We just explain that each carrier has different underwriting subsidiares for each state to comply w/ the difference state insurance requirements.

Just explain that all insurance companies have a "Marketing" name and then the actual "insurance carrier" name (or several).

Just tell them every parent company has many different subsidiary companies under their umbrella. Mostly to side step gov't regulations and file different rates to really get the most premium out of you, the client.
