Does anyone know much about National Security? I was invited to a seminar the same day and time of the Atlanta Lunch and Learn with John. I am trying to decide which one to attend, they both have free lunch:biggrin:
I just want to make sure where I go I am going to get the best info, I am new to the industry and I am trying to learn as much as I can.

I would request a menu from both and then make your final decision.

If you are trying to get the "best information" and want to learn as much as you can why would lunch, whether or not it is even served let alone free, enter into your decision?

To me the decision would be a "no brainer". You can go to a meeting put on by a company that wants you to peddle their policies, listen to them mentally masturbate about how big, powerful and wonderful they are or you can go to a meeting and actually learn something about selling insurance.

The company is going to blow all kinds of smoke up your ass, I'm sure there will also be plenty of mirrors in the room.

At John's meeting you probably stand a good chance of meeting other agents who can give you accurate information about the company. Accurate information from an agent's point of view not from a company executive who is paid to make the company sound like the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Or, you can line your pockets with baggies, go early to one, be the first in line, fill your pockets and leave in time to arrive at the second one before they stop serving. :D

Hehehehehe. I'm not sure truer words were ever spoken.

Thanks for the replies....
I just threw in the lunch part as a little joke, it really had no part in the decision.

Thank you Mark, I will take your advice and go to Johns Lunch and Learn, I was leaning more towards there anyway.
I will also call you to find out your schedule when we can meet.
