Got a call from a client in NC wanting to buy additional life coverage. I wasn't sure my license was still active. Called the NC DOI and was told they will renew all non resident producer license at no charge as long as my resident state of FL license is active. Does any other states do this for us?

Michigan has no renewal date. It just stays active until you give it up.

I think it is linked to your home state license. Stays active unless your home state is canceleld/expired/suspended for education, etc
