I don't normally do final expense. Never have done one. Just regular life & annuity & ltc.

Got a good friend, pastor, wants me to get one for his mom, I wanna help him out.

I've got access to Mutual of Omaha and have ran their whole life express.

She's 79, no major medical problems like heart or cancer, but She was diagnosed with diabetes about 6 years ago and she has high blood pressure.

What would be a good rate? What would be another carrier to look at?

Final expense is just simplified issue whole life. Being SI, they don't really care about diabetes or HPB unless they have serious complications. Those minor things are already factored into the rates. It's the big stuff like heart attack, stroke, cancer, etc. that is a problem.

Surprisingly, MoO is looking pretty good for your 79yo. I'm only seeing American Memorial with lower rates and that's just a few bucks a month on a $10K face.

Take a look at Fexquotes.com.

I got $89/mo with MoO - is that close to what you got? Making sure... ;-)
