I have a decent sized Medicare and annuity BOB. With commission cuts incoming for Medicare plans, I need to diversify. How long would it take me to be up and running and have a decent knowledge of the P&C industry? Can you broker several companies? How many clients does it take to become profitable. I'm about done with the shenanigans of healthcare.

What state are you in? What are the conditions of the marketplace there? In many states, the P&C market is terrible and it's a terrible time to be selling P&C. That part can be researched here.
