Need help with commission

I own a call center and need advice on a good commission structure to place my agents on.any advice would help.
 
Since commissions on P&C tend to be low (10-15% of premium) an 80/20 split would be a starter for any new business

Not enough info. Are they on a salary, does salary stay level or shrink as commissions & renewals build?

Do they incur any costs?

Can they make any sales from their own prospecting efforts or all inbound call center provided leads only?

If that is the case, I think you will need to give them a substantial amount of the new commission or you will be having a lot of turnover of the good ones. Then likely a smaller portion of renewals if you are covering all overhead & providing CSRs to service the policies

Commission only, you supply 100 leads per day, agents convert 10%. Lots if wishful thinking. If a good agent isn't making 200.00 per day in commission he wont stay. At 80% of 10% of premium, an agent has to close 5 policies per day. They wont stay.
