Hello All,

I am looking for a broker-dealer to place my fixed and variable annuity business. Any recommendations on the independent side would be great.

Thanks,

Evan

You only need a B/D for your variable annuity & variable life insurance contracts.

You can go direct to the carriers for your fixed business.

If you are intent on keeping your securities licenses, and you do significant securities production to warrant keeping them, then I'd recommend ONESCO through Ohio National.

I do less then $50k a year in security sales. I just need a broker dealer to hang my seven as it would expire the 3rd of December.

Evan, I would recommend BI (Brokers International) as someone to look at. I have many agents who have worked with them and are happy. Also, working under an RIA is an option to consider as well.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute. $50k in GDC will get you an 80% payout from ONESCO, but you're cutting it close considering the 3rd is this coming Tuesday.

Yeah good luck on getting the carrier to get the fingerprint forms to you by then. I doubt any carrier will even be answering the phones until Monday at this point.

ONESCO won't be answering phones today. I think he's SOL.

If he missed the securities business THAT much... he would've been looking for a B/D much quicker and the licenses would not expire.

You have waited too late and will not be able to pull it off in such a short time frame is my guess.

I would like to start looking into this. Are there any RIA's that you would recommend?
