New Agent on the Block

Hi!

My name is Cole. I'm fairly new to the insurance industry. I know you can make a lot of money in this industry, but my main goal is to be honest and walk in integrity with my current clients and future clients.

I would like to hear from the seasoned insurance agents first. I would love to know the ups and downs also what kept you going in the business.

Thank you (for the encouragement in advance).

There are 2 things that don't last. Dogs that chase cars and insurance agents without prospects. Prospects generally come from leads.

You're absolutely right. Got to have those leads (good quality ones) to make a decent living .

there is a lot of money in this industry but it does not happen over night. Work hard and it pays off. networking is a good source of good leads and it is how I built my book. What state are you in?

Yes, I agree that if you work hard it will pay off. Of course, networking is a must to gain great leads.

I'm in North Carolina. What state are you in? Are you licensed in more than one State?

Who says that they have to be different? Why not serve your clients with the highest integrity AND earn a lot of money??

Being completely irrational about analyzing my situation minute-by-minute and seeing all the "signs" around me. The more you can silence your own internal critic, the better you will be long-term. The way I do it, is to just admit that I'm being and acting irrational... and that's the only rational way towards success. Be irrational with yourself... and KEEP prospecting!

"No, I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested."

Once you can master the internal self-talk... you've got this.

Yeah, when your own voice is louder than it should be it's a sign you the agent will talk yourself out of a sell before you even get to the appointment. I almost did that....I realize when I'm in an appointment the person sitting in front of me NEED what I have and I got it, LIFE INSURANCE!
