hi everyone, i just recently got my insurance license and i have a few questions that im hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.

my first question- I am going the independent route and i would like to sell insurance from home (for the time being at least). is there any legal issues with this? Also, do i need to create a business entity?

second question- as far as selling insurance to "controlled business" is it ok to do so as long as its not 25% of your aggregate commission on your total business?

Questions 1 and 2 - I would check with the Department of Insurance in your State, as each State can differ.
