New Agent with Few Questions

I am in the process of studying for my state exam through examfx, and have became a independent agent for Colonial Life. They are waiting for me to pass my exam then are going to train me in everything I need to know. They have been very helpful and so far they seem like a great company and I enjoy them. I have contacted the Indiana Department of Insurance and got the papers to form my business identity with the state. I have arranged meetings to meet with several owners of office space in my town to form a headquarters for my operations. I have hired on a close friend who is a Accountant to control finances and have my girlfriend coming in as a secretary. E&O insurance is coming as well.

Seems as I am rushing but let me explain that I am not new to 100% commission jobs and I have a Bachelors in Business and money in savings to float me for 6 months and credit to float me maybe another 6. This has not been thought up overnight and I am aware of the risks involved. My accountant and girlfriend are both aware of low income first few years and are taking the risks as well. My aunt is a StateFarm agent and is going to be networking with me/us as well.

My question is whats next..... Major Medical?? I have done some research and feel Major Medical complements my package and would lead to more meetings thus more possible sales. Does anyone know of a good major medical company that would benefit my current situation?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Colonial Life is a Great company..I own a Life & health Insurance Agency in Knoxville TN & also specialize in providing tools and systems to allow agents to realize their potential in driving prospects and traffic to their website using a very inexpensive system..

90% of all the commissions that our agency brings in is from Major Medical sales..The marketing that we do, using many direct and online rescources, leads us to many cross selling oportunities..Dependeng on the state that you are in, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and United Health Care are great companies in the individual market arena..

I am in Tennessee ..and BCBST is King in this state..

If you are interested in Major Medical Sales, you need to register and watch our webinar on how to produce your own leads like the big companies do...

Lest Urner, the rule is you must pay each forum member $1.75 if you advertise in your first post.
Sorry, rules is rules.

Guess I should have read the rules better..My appoligies..Just tried to help a new agent not get stung by those bad lead companies, like i have in the past..Now, how much $$ do i owe, exactly?

That's funny...Guess I'll wait to hear from the forum police before i send you any $$ I just re-read the rules..did'nt find that $1.75 anywhere..why dont you reference the paragraph for me..

It's under the "Board Contributions and Fouls" section. The only problem is that you can only read it BEFORE you make your first post or after your 1000th post. Sorry, but you just have to trust us!!
