Hello from Georgia to all members of this exceptional forum! I'm a realtor with 6 years experience in the NJ market. Times were good up there!

I'm now ready to make a career change and happy to share my future experience with you. I' am an insurance agent- to be and already have my first interview with Aflac. They have already sent me an invitation for a second interview.

I came out of the first interview with more questions than answers.
Here are some of my initials concerns:

-Don't think it is a good idea to commit to any company at first glance (Primerica was the first one I was interviewed by and didn't like it and…it is subsidiary of Citigroup)

-No sure about which product(s) is/are the best (saleable) in next year market (life vs. health or perhaps a company that sells both insurances)

- And, of course, given equal hard work which company gives better commission, residual income, bonuses, renewals and alike.(no additional benefits is OK)

I really appreciate any feedback, because I need to hit ground running!

Talk to NYL, Mass Mutual, Northwestern Mutual, Guardian, etc. Those are all better options. A local Indy would be a better option. AFLAC, Primerica, and some other places I can think of are not where you want to be in my opinion. Search this board diligently and read what you find.

Welcome to the forum. We are glad to have you on here. I also live here in Georgia. I think you will find a lot of the information here on the formul useful and take some time doing some searches.

Find your niche and stick with it. Don't try and sell all the products and spread yourself too thin.
