New Guy Saying Hello!

I have taken the plunge and started out in this field as an independent agent. I'm glad I started looking around here a while ago because I probably would have gone with Farmers, Allstate or Statefarm. I have learned so very much in such a short period of time. I realize this is going to be a long slow and challenging road, but, I am looking forward to getting started. I will focus on life, FE & annuities.

Yes, not as much in the way of direct selling in the insurance world as I would like though. My first job out of school was banging phones for a wire house. Three plus years as a sales rep in an unrelated industry. Lots of experience in financial services around direct selling. I know it is going to be rough and I am prepared. I also ran my own small business for 6 yrs. I am not young by any means.
