New KSKJ App - Final Expense

Anyone like to share their thoughts about the new KSKJ life FE app?

Slight improvement. Not much change.
1st insulin use can now be at age 20 instead of 30.
Gender is now gender at birth.
Corrected- Heart events between 18 months to 36 month can get Standard (1st day coverage).

No rate changes or anything drastic.

Note: Best Plan Pro and FexSapp are both up to date with the new KSKJ app info.

They obviously had adverse claim history which is understandable as their Underwriting has been super aggressive. They changed rx providers and are using a "rules based predictive model".That means their getting ready for eapps with real time decisions but it also means certain combos of drugs might get modified vs getting vs getting standard before .Time will tell

I'm not sure how you are reaching those conclusions. RX change is to speed up the underwriting process but they are not interested in point of sale approvals anytime in the near future unfortunately.

Claim history has been the opposite of adverse. It's been much better than projected and expected in every meeting I've had with the president of KSKJ.

Their underwriting has always been a tightened up version of the old TransAmerica underwriting. So not as aggressive as other companies but more aggressive than some. As I said, the claims history over the past 5-years is significantly more favorable than they estimated. So seems to be in line with the product.
