New Member from Northern/Central CA

I own a independent P&C agency with offices in Sacramento, Santa Rosa and Fresno, CA. I have been in the business for 10 years with my first 8 coming as a middle market commercial producers for a large regional "Insurance Journal 100" agency in Sacramento. I got tired fo working for others (and giving them 70% of my commish) so I ventured out on my own 2 years ago and have loved every minute of it. It was a bit scary but a lot of fun. I currently target preferred personal lines accounts (married couple with 2.5 kids and a dog types) and small business owners (2-50 employees) that need P&C and benefits. I also target condo associations and apartment owners.

These forums look much more lively than any other online insurance communities and I am looking forward to learning a few things and sharing what I know.
