New to Insurance, and Taking my P&c Friday.

I am brand new to this industry, and on friday I am taking my property and casualty exam. Is there any test tips that helped you, that maybe I should know? I am excited to join the insurance world, and am hoping to make a great career out of it. TIA.

Do not try to understand the material for the test. Just memorize. Easiet test. Passed all 4 of mine first time. What state?

The tests are BS & have almost nothing to do with the real world. They're designed to trick you so you pay multiple times to retake it.

Anything you have trouble remembering, read right before you go in and write it down immediately. Don't second guess yourself, go with your first instinct. The test is easier than you think it will be. The real work comes after.

California, my friend said it was an 80% first time fail rate.

Best of luck to you! I had the benefit of being a receptionist for half a year before taking it. Taught me a great deal. Hopefully you get into a lot of of crazy stuff you can use as experience down the road.

Hope you did well on the exams and employed! You've entered a great industry! You learn something every day!
