I have recently acquired my Life and Health license. I was working for a company selling Medicare Advantage plans. That program has since been shut down due to the end of AEP. My plan was always to use this insurance license to put myself in a better situation to support myself as well as my family.
However, I am a little lost right now. I know there are IMO's and NAA's. Should I go with one of those and work somewhere part time, or should I work full time at a job not in the insurance field, and just wait until I can get employment at an actual agency. Any advice is welcomed.

There are all types of marketing organizations "the alliance "it's just one of several hundred out there. Biggest question is do you have the work ethic to make things happen? are you a self-starter able to go out and work without someone telling you to clock in? Do you have the financial flexibility and savings to open up a business. Because basically starting in insurance is opening your own business and it's desperately hard to do without any financial stability.

Before you go calling IMOs for contracts, first thing you need to do is to know which niche market are you planning to work in? Based on the product and the niche, it will determine which IMO you need to contract with.
