Newbie from Mass. Here.

Hi, I discovered this site a few days ago, and already have learned some things I didn't know.

I'm from Massachusetts, and I'm in the process of going for my licenses in Life and also Accident & Health. I'm still trying to figure out how long I should take to get into the business of selling insurance. I'm almost thinking of working part-time with a salary in another field just so I have some money available so I can give myself more resources and more time available for me to grow in this career. I'm a big believer in anything worth doing is worthy doing right.

I'm sure I'll learn even more I go along, and I'm strongly considering joining John's association when I get my licenses.

You can join it before you get your lic. Go ahead and be learning everything ahead of time. Learn as much as you can, as fast as you can.
